Kia ora, my name is Claire, I am a Speech Language Therapist born in Coventry and trained in the UK. I arrived in New Zealand planning to stay for one year. That was 16 years ago. I got married, had two children and New Zealand has become very much home.
Over the past 15 years I have been working locally in Porirua across homes, schools and early childhood centres supporting children and families with a diverse range of communication and more recently literacy needs. Starting Communication Pathways is about creating space to do what I love most, partnering with families to provide personalised support so that every child can reach their potential .
